Focus Flow Space is a fitness companion that spins up a random workout whenever you need a nudge to train. This Privacy Policy explains, in plain language, how Focus Flow Space developed by Ponpon devs ("we," "our," or "us") handles the small amount of information the App needs in order to work on your device and help us understand how people find it. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
Your Rights and Choices
You're in control of almost everything this policy describes. At any time, you can:
- Reset your advertising identifier or switch off personalized ads in Android Settings → Google → Ads. This also effectively resets the attribution signal we receive.
- Clear the App's data in your device settings — this wipes the anonymous identifier, your saved workout history, favorites, reminders, and any cookies the in-app browser has stored.
- Uninstall the App — everything stored on your device is removed.
- Revoke the notification permission at any time from your system settings. You'll simply stop seeing workout reminders.
- Ask us a question about your data by emailing [email protected].
Information We Collect
Automatically Collected Information
When you first launch the App, a handful of basic values are generated or read from your device so that Focus Flow Space can function and we can understand where new users come from:
- Anonymous Identifier. A random identifier is created on first launch and saved on your device. It contains no personal information and simply lets us count unique installations and keep your preferences consistent between sessions.
- Device Language and Region. We read your device's language setting so the App can show text and formatting that match your locale.
- Google Advertising Identifier. Google's advertising identifier is read from your device and used to attribute installs to the marketing source that referred you. You can reset or opt out of this identifier in Android Settings at any time.
- Attribution Data. Signals about how you arrived at Focus Flow Space — for example, the install source, campaign name, and install referrer — are collected so we can understand which channels actually help people discover the App.
Your privacy consent status is kept on your device only and is not transmitted anywhere.
Built-in Browser
The App includes a small built-in browser so we can show you important pages — such as this Privacy Policy and the Support page — without forcing you to leave the App. The built-in browser doesn't collect anything beyond what's already described above, but like any browser it supports cookies (including third-party cookies) and local storage for the websites it loads. If you'd like to clear those, clearing the App's data in your device settings will remove them.
Support and Bug Reports
From the App's Support page you can reach out to us directly. A support request is only sent when you choose to submit it, and you decide exactly what to include. A submission may contain:
- Your name and email address, so we can reply to you.
- The subject and message you write — typically a question, feedback, or a bug description.
- An optional attachment. You can take a new photo using your device's camera or pick an existing file (for example a screenshot) through your device's file picker. The App itself never opens the camera directly — photo capture is handled entirely by the camera app that ships with your device, under its own permissions.
We use anything you send us solely to respond to your request and resolve the issue you've raised.
Workout Data Saved on Your Device
The App keeps your workout-related data locally on your device so it works offline and stays fast. This includes your spin history, favorited exercises and programs, onboarding progress, and preferences such as unit choice (kg/lbs) and reminder settings. None of this is transmitted to our servers. Clearing the App's data in your device settings, or uninstalling the App, removes all of it.
Network Traffic
Most network requests made by the App use encrypted HTTPS. A small number of connections may fall back to unencrypted HTTP depending on the network environment, so please avoid sending anything you'd consider sensitive through support attachments if you're on an untrusted network.
How We Use Your Information
The information described above is used only for the following purposes:
- To run the core features of Focus Flow Space — spinning workouts, showing exercises, saving history.
- To understand which marketing channels help new users find the App (install attribution).
- To keep your preferences consistent between launches.
- To reply to you if you contact our Support page.
Third-Party Services
We use AppsFlyer for mobile install attribution and marketing analytics. AppsFlyer receives your Google Advertising Identifier, the anonymous identifier described above, and attribution signals such as install source and campaign name. AppsFlyer also collects additional device-level information (such as IP address, device model, and operating system version) as part of its standard functionality.
AppsFlyer Privacy Policy: https://www.appsflyer.com/legal/privacy-policy/
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share data with any third party beyond what is described here.
Data Retention
Your anonymous identifier and any cookies or local storage set by the built-in browser persist on your device until you clear the App's data or uninstall. The advertising identifier is managed by Google Play Services and can be reset by you at any time. Attribution signals held by AppsFlyer are retained according to AppsFlyer's own retention schedule.
Security
We take reasonable technical measures to protect the information we handle, including using encrypted transport by default. No system is perfectly secure, though, and we can't guarantee absolute protection — please keep that in mind when deciding what to include in a support message.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information through the Support page, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
Third-Party Links
The App may link to websites we do not operate. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and we encourage you to review them before submitting any information.
Changes to This Policy
We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, when we add new App features or update third-party services. Updates take effect as soon as the revised policy is posted, and the "Last updated" date at the top of the page will change. We recommend checking back occasionally.
